Sancho Panza

This drink is from The Complete Rum Guide from Don Quixote Rum, which was printed in 1960. This fun little drink is listed under “Don Q Summer Specials” in the book. It says it is a “hearty, robust drink” filled with “vim and vitamins.” Let’s see if Tom agrees.

“How is it?”

“Kind of gross, actually.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, not sure if it is just me, but these flavors just don’t seem to go together.”

The Verdict: Kind of Gross

From the Tasting Notes:

Everyone has their own taste preferences, and for us rum and tomato juice is not something we enjoy. They just don’t go together. And for some reason, the lemon juice made it even worse. We tried different versions with more tomato juice and then another version with more lemon, but they pretty much all tasted wrong.
