½ cup sugar
½ cup evaporated milk
1 tbsp corn syrup
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 cup salted peanuts

Mix in heavy 2-quart saucepan; sugar, evaporated milk and corn syrup. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbling all over top). Boil and stir 2 minutes more.

Take off heat. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate until completely melted. Stir in peanuts. Drop with 2 teaspoons onto wax paper. Chill until firm.
Yield: 25 clusters

Use 1 cup pecan halves in place of peanuts.
