From Hot Dogs, 1955

 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
 2 tbsp water
 ½ cup cream French dressing
 1 package of hot dogs

Soften gelatin in 2 tablespoons water; dissolve over hot water.

Add to ½ cup creamy French dressing.

Dip frankfurter pieces in the mixture; let set; redip; chill.
