 1 pound frankfurterssliced 1/2 inch thick
 1 onionchopped
 ¼ cup chopped green pepper
 ½ cup chopped celery
 3 tbsp butter or margarine
 2 ½ tbsp enriched flour
 1 ¼ cups milk
 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
 1 tsp salt
  tsp pepper
 1 ½ cups mashed potatoes

Brown frankfurters, onion, green pepper and celery in butter or margarine. Blend in flour. Add milk and cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Add Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Pour into a greased 8-inch casserole and top with mashed potatoes. Bake in a moderate (350-degree) oven for 30 minutes.
Yield: 6 servings
