 1 cup butter
 1 cup sugar
 4 eggs
 2 cups cake flour
 ¾ tsp baking powder
 ¼ tsp salt

Cream butter. Add sugar to the creamed mixture.
Add eggs one at a time and mix. Add sifted dry ingredients together and add slowly to the batter. Bake in a 325-degree oven for 90 minutes.
