Gingered Heavenly Hash

 1 pound fruit cocktail
 1 ½ cups miniature marshmallows
 1 cup sour cream
 2 tbsp chopped crystallized ginger
 3 tbsp pecans or sliced walnuts

Drain fruit cocktail, combine drained fruit with marshmallows, sour cream, and ginger. Chill overnight or at least 4 hours. Sprinkle with nuts just before serving. Garnish with maraschino cherries or mint leaves. May be spooned into sherbet-style glasses accompanied by sugar cookies.
