    Weird that they’re called “sunflower nuts,” not “seeds.” I hate seeing the sunflower jar because one year my mom was sick at Christmas time and dad was in charge of the shopping. Apparently he went to a grocery store on Christmas eve night. My sister was told to look in the freezer and she got a box of ice cream bars. I had a jar of Planters sunflower seeds under the tree. I have no idea why. I never even liked sunflower seeds much, and that experience left me liking them even less….
