I would actually consider that Spam Benedict. Probably fry the SPAM first, and just make my own hollandaise, since packaged hollandaise is so… don’t make me go there!

Okay… curiosity got the best of me and I made the SPAM Benedict. My verdict? “GOD this would be perfect if it just had… Canadian bacon”…

    Oh well, I tried!

My Grandfather was always a fan of Cure 81…insisted on it in fact. I found out that Cure 81 isn’t injected with “solutions” or sugar…so now it’s “my” ham too. Spam was not a part of my experience growing up, thankfully.

Hormel Cure 81 is the best. Yeah, I didn’t grow up eating SPAM either — my mother bought it once before I was born — said when she opened it, it was filled with WORMS! I’m surprised it grossed her out. This the same mother who fed me scrambled eggs with cow brains once when I sick! Um, it didn’t help settle my stomach…
