Hi there,I’m a nephew of Reno through my papa’s sister, who was married to him, and Renee is my cousin. Hi Renee, long time no see. I’m so glad to have tumbled on to the article about the Luccioni restaurant at E.40th & Euclid Ave. in Cleveland. I wae brought up in the “terrace” behind the reataurant, just down the street form where Renee her father Reno and my aunt Rebecca lived and the article brought back very fond memories of back then. Just thought I’d respond and express my gratitude for the wonderful writ up. Sincerely, Donald
Wow!!! My great Uncle is Florindo married to my grandmother’s sister Assunta. Both of my
grandparents worked there and my Mom spent her childhood in the kitchen and of course all
the food for my parents wedding was cooked there. My mom’s maiden name is Milano, Caroline.
I have to admit, that sauce does sound quite delicious!
So happy to see a recipe from Luccioni’s. It was my family’s restaurant & my father, Reno, was the head chef. Enjoy!

Laura,
We must be related somehow. My mother was Rebecca Luccioni & Florindo was her uncle thus my great uncle. …Renee
