You’re not going to believe this…I found this recipe on an index card (written out) in my Grandmother’s recipe box and made it this past Easter. Since she was quite ill with cancer by 1975, I wonder which came first–the ad with the recipe or the recipe that was turned into an ad.

I don’t get why you would do that to ice cream. What does Ice Cream mixed with Jello feel like?

Toni, the ice cream/jello mixture is rather creamy. I wasn’t sure about the combo–especially since you don’t freeze it–but it was surprisingly creamy and perfect with the peaches suspended in the Jello. I served it as dessert and everyone devoured it (even though they claimed they were still full from dinner).

I remember peach Jello. It’s not available anymore, is it?

    It tasted like perfume.
