Beet Jelly

Beet Jelly001

This recipe is from my Mom’s recipe binder, and was given to her by a neighbor before I was born.  I have absolutely no idea if this is good or not, and my Mom NEVER made it.  The addition of a package of Kool-Aid is bizarre and kind of freaks me out. Try at your own risk.

I’m still thinking this one over! I do love Lucille’s handwriting – that I’m sure of.

I would remove the sugar and add more gelatin to make it firm enough to cut into tiny squares and use as a cold relish, like wine gelatin.
